道冲，而用之有弗盈也。
渊呵！似万物之宗。
锉其兑，解其纷，和其光，同其尘。
湛呵！似或存。
吾不知其谁之子，象帝之先。

Translation & Meaning

大道空虛無形，然而運用起來卻永不枯竭、不會滿溢。 多麼深邃淵遠啊，它好似天下萬物的共同宗主。 磨去鋒芒畢露的銳氣，化解糾纏不清的紛擾，收斂耀眼奪目的光芒，混同於世間樸素的塵土。 多麼澄澈幽深啊，它似無而實存。 我不知道它由誰所生，只見它在天帝出現之前便已自在長存。

Commentary

青禾散人評注：「挫其銳，解其紛，和其光，同其塵」乃道家處世至高修養。真正深厚的人無需張揚鋒芒，而是內斂光華、融於日常，如深淵般寂靜卻蘊藏無窮生機。
